Licenses
What you may and may not do with each thing sold here, in plain language. These are the same terms as the LICENSEfile inside your download — if the two ever disagree, tell me and I'll fix it.
Nearly every question resolves to one line: you can sell what you build with it, you cannot sell it. Everything below is that idea, spelled out.
Frosel UI
$39Build and sell anything with it. Don't sell it as a component kit.
What one purchase covers
One purchase covers one developer, perpetual, worldwide and non-exclusive. A team needs a team licence.
You may
- Use the kit as a single developer.
- Use it in an unlimited number of projects — personal, commercial or client work alike.
- Modify the components to fit what your project needs.
- Sell and distribute the applications and end products you build with it.
You may not
- Resell, redistribute, or repackage the kit — or components extracted from it — as another component kit, theme, template or starter.
- Publish the source anywhere public: a public repository, gist, forum or CDN.
- Share your licence key, or use it across a team in a way that exceeds the single-developer limit.
- Use the Frosel name or brand to present a derived product as an official Frosel product.
The free tier is MIT
Eight of the components are published separately under the MIT licence, in their standalone ui-free distribution. None of the restrictions above apply to those eight — use them however you like, including in a competing kit.
Refund
Full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
No warranty
Provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for testing what you ship.
Frosel Starter

What one purchase covers
A single-developer licence granted to one named person, perpetual and non-exclusive. A team licence extends the same rights to every developer at one company. Neither expires.
You may
- Use it to build unlimited applications, personal or commercial.
- Use it in client work, and hand the resulting application to that client.
- Modify any part of it. Delete what you don't need.
- Deploy anywhere, publicly or privately, with no attribution required.
- Keep using this version forever, including after any support period ends.
You may not
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish it as a starter kit, boilerplate, template, theme or code library — in whole or in substantial part, free or paid.
- Publish it to a public repository or package registry in a form from which it could be used as a starter.
- Share your copy with developers outside your licence.
Sell what you build with it, not it.
Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold; copyright remains with Efe Saygılı. Applications you build are entirely yours, and nothing in the licence claims any interest in them.
Updates
A single-developer licence includes updates for twelve months from purchase. Updates released in that window are yours to keep permanently. Nothing stops working when the window closes.
Refund
Full refund within fourteen days of purchase, for any reason, on request. Your licence ends when the refund is issued.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount you paid. No liability for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages.
Third-party code
Depends on next, react and react-dom, each under its own licence (MIT). Those licences govern those packages; this one governs everything else.
No warranty
Provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You are responsible for testing what you ship.

What one purchase covers
One purchase covers one licensee — you, or the single company that bought it. Perpetual, worldwide and non-exclusive. Solo covers one developer; Team covers everyone at one company up to the seat count stated at checkout. The terms are otherwise identical.
You may
- Use the template to build and sell unlimited products of your own — one sales page per product, as many products as you ship.
- Modify it however you like — rewrite the copy, tear out sections, restyle it, merge it into a larger codebase.
- Build sales pages for paying clients, and hand the resulting page's source to that client as part of the work.
- Deploy it on as many domains as you own or are contracted to build.
- Keep using it forever, including versions already downloaded, even if you later stop receiving updates.
You may not
- Resell or redistribute the template itself, modified or unmodified, as a template, theme, starter, kit, or any other product whose value is the page.
- Publish the source in a public repository, gist, tutorial download or file host where others could obtain it instead of buying it.
- Sublicense, rent, lease or transfer the licence to another party.
- Sell it, or a derivative of it, on any marketplace.
- Use it to build a product that competes with it — a sales-page template, theme shop or page builder offering this design to end users.
A page for your own product, or a client's, is fine. A template on a marketplace is not.
Agencies
Shipping this to many clients is covered — each client's sales page is an end product. What isn't covered is handing the raw template to clients as a reusable asset.
Your claims are yours
The template ships its dark-pattern components switched off and stamps example testimonials “Sample” until you remove them. Those are properties of the template, not a warranty about your page. The copy, numbers, testimonials and claims you put into the config are yours and are your responsibility — including consumer-protection and advertising law in the markets you sell to. Ship things that are true.
Third-party components
Depends on Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS under their own open-source licences, and loads Inter and JetBrains Mono via Google Fonts (SIL Open Font License). Overlay checkout loads LemonSqueezy's lemon.js or Gumroad's gumroad.js from their servers, governed by those providers' terms.

Covers one individual or one company. Everyone employed by the licensee may work on projects that use the template. Contractors may use it while working for the licensee, on the licensee's projects only. Agencies are covered — each client site is an end product; handing the raw template to clients as a reusable asset is not.

The Dark Mode Handbook

What one purchase covers
One purchase covers one reader — you. Perpetual, worldwide and non-exclusive. Read it on any device you own, and print one copy for your own use.
You may
- Read it, keep it forever, and print one personal copy.
- Use every code sample — the CSS, the tokens, the scripts, the snippets inside the before/after figures — in your own projects, personal or commercial, with no attribution and no permission required.
You may not
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly post the PDF — in whole or in substantial part.
- Share your copy so others can read it instead of buying it: file hosts, repositories, courses and marketplaces included.
The writing, the figures and the layout are the copyrighted part: one copy, one reader. The code carries no strings — the entire point of the book is that you apply these fixes.
Termination
Terminates automatically if you redistribute the book; delete your copies on termination. Your right to use the code samples survives.
No warranty
Provided "as is". The contrast figures and code are accurate to the best of the author’s knowledge, but you are responsible for testing what you ship.
The free things
diskbroom — MIT. Use it, fork it, sell something built on it, no permission needed. The eight-component Frosel UI free tier is MIT too.
More than one developer? Several of the licences above describe a team or company licence. None is on sale yet — if you need one, email me and I will set it up. Buying the single-developer licence and asking later is fine too; nothing is void for asking.
